2023 Volkswagen ID.GTI Concept

Volkswagens ID electric range is finally getting its first hot hatch GTI model with the ID.GTI concept previewing the eventual production vehicle. Its size is more akin to the Polo GTI than the Golf GTI, which should position it as the entry level GTI model in the range at what will hopefully be an affordable price point.

Not much is known about the specs at this point, with VW only confirming that it will be front-wheel drive with a floor mounted battery of unknown capacity. The production version should keep a lot of the styling seen here, just expect some of the concept car flare to be toned down a bit.
