2018 TVR Griffith

TVR has risen from the ashes, launching the first car since it’s resurrection by British hands at the 2017 Goodwood Revival. The British muscle car is back with a good ole naturally aspirated V8 up front, and classic sports car proportions abounding, the new TVR Griffith looks set to bring back the essence of TVRs back on the road. TVR’s long-standing ethos of the Spirit of Driving – the principle of delivering an involving driving interface where the driver will always be fully in control, has remained as the core of this new era of TVR. The new Griffith uses intelligent engineering over electronic driver aids, helping the driver to feel in control all the time without computer aid cutting in when unwanted.

The Griffith stands as only the second front-engined production car to feature a flat floor, boasting a full ground-effect aerodynamic package that ensures the car remains stable at high speeds and delivers exceptional handling abilities. Making full use of Gordon Murray Design’s innovative iStream architecture, the Griffith uses carbon composite materials for the structure and body panels. This all adds up to a 50:50 weight distribution and low kerb weight of 1,250 kg.
