2022 Prodrive P25

Prodrive have unveiled their P25 restomod of the Subaru Impreza 22B, the legendary 90’s rally car for the road. The P25 name was chosen for a few reasons including a production limit of 25 units, an enlarged 2.5L boxer engine and to celebrate 25 years since Subaru first WRC stage win.

The 22B is renown for being the ultimate version of the original generation Impreza, so Prodrive have a lot to live up to if they are going to improve on the formula. Starting out, the larger engine now produces 400 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, a nice increase over the 22B’s 276 hp. Some 70 kilograms of weight has also been removed thanks to carbon panels, bucket seats and lithium-ion battery. 0-62 mph now clocks in at under 3.5 seconds with rally-spec anti-lag and launch control helping along the way.
