Description
Subaru’s WRX TR gets a spec change, now positioned as the top performer of the WRX range for 2024. When the original WRX TR debuted in the US for 2006 it was released as a lower spec version of the WRX that was ‘Tuner Ready’ and designed for buyers to modify. Now in 2024, Subaru have taken a different approach to the TR, placing it as more of a track focused edition or ‘Track Ready’ if you will.
Available as a manual only, the WRX TR sticks with the same tried and true 2.4L 4-cylinder turbo engine making the usual 271 hp and 258 lb-ft. Subaru have tuned the suspension with stiffer springs and firmer dampers, and fitted six-piston Brembo brakes on the front and two-piston callipers on the rear.
