2004 Skoda Octavia RS

Skoda Auto has designed the RS series for civilian use, full of sporting dynamic and fascinating agility. The Skoda Octavia RS is supplied with these letters in both hatch and estate version. Depending on choice, it can be supplied with a petrol or a diesel engine. The performance provided by the diesel scarcely lags behind that of its petrol brother. From its two litre capacity, the new direct injection engine with common rail technology with its 125 kW (170 HP), provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h (petrol engine: 7.3 seconds, 240 km/h). The engine provides peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,750 revs thus providing an enormous torque. At 2,500 revs the power remains constant. The engine is fitted with a maintenance-free diesel particulant filter as standard and with a two-way catalytic converter und remains well below the limits of EU 4 exhaust gas standards.
