2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS

Porsche has revealed the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, now with the same 500 horsepower engine from the 911 GT3. It will be the most extreme version of the Cayman ever made, and the first time the GT4 has received the RS treatment.

The naturally aspirated 4.0L Flat 6 engine comes directly from the GT3 with a 9,000 rpm redline and more power and torque than the standard Cayman GT4. with a peak power rating of 493 hp and peak torque of 332 lb-ft, the GT4 RS does have a little less than the 911 GT3, but more importantly 89 hp, and 22 lb-ft more than the GT4.

A seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential and combines with the launch control function to deliver a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 3.4 seconds.
