2022 Noble M500 Prototype

A new British supercar is just around the corner in the form of the Noble M500, a 550 hp V6 powered alternative to the M600. Opting for a steel chassis with glassfibre composite body instead of a carbon fiber one will help the M500 be a cheaper option for the brand. It’s still expected to cost around the £150,000 price point and compete with the likes of the Maserati MC20, the Audi R8 and the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Ford’s twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6, the very same as used in the Ford GT, will take pride of place in the M500’s engine bay. When the it was originally teased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2018, Noble were planning to offer a seven-speed twin-clutch auto gearbox as the only option for buyers. The good news now is the complete reversal of that decision, with a six-speed open-gate manual gearbox now the only option.
