2018 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG

More power and torque for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG S63, with 612 hp, 900 Nm and all-wheel drive. The S63 sees the replacement of the ageing 5.5L V8 from the previous generation with a new 4.0L unit. The reduction in capacity has brought about a more efficient lightweight engine, with a modest power bump of 27 hp.

With a 0-100 kph sprint of 3.5 seconds, Mercedes are claiming the new S63 AMG is the fastest accelerating performance luxury saloon to date. The top speed is limited to 250 kph, but with the optional AMG Driver’s Package, that is lifted up to 300 kph.
