2019 Kia ProCeed GT

Kia’s top line Ceed has been refreshed with the 2019 ProCeed GT, packing a 1.6L turbo and dual-clutch transmission into a shooting brake body. Designed and developed in Frankfurt, Germany, the new Kia ProCeed is the brands important next step into increasing sales in Europe. The handsome design, 5-door shooting brake body with space and versatility, should provide an appealing combination for buyers.

The 2019 model Kia ProCeed GT uses a carry over engine form the previous model. The 1.6L turbocharged 4 cylinder has been rated at 201 PS (148 kW) at 6,000 rpm, and 195 lb-ft (265 Nm) of torque from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. The 0-60 mph acceleration time is clocked at 7.2 seconds, and at top speed the ProCeed GT will hit 140 mph (225 kph). ALl new to the 2019 model is a 7-speed auto dual-clutch transmission that has been developed in-house by Kia, enabling quicker shifts and the use of paddle shifters for manual gear selection.
