2021 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe

Jaguars F-Type 2-seater sports car has just revealed a face-lifted update, showing off a sleek new look and engine range. Gone is the V6 engine option for the F-Type, replaced by a 300 PS (221 kW) 2.0L turbocharged 4 cylinder as the entry-level engine configuration. The next step up are 2 versions of Jaguars long running supercharged V8,available both 450 PS (331 kW) and 575 PS (423 kW) tunes. The more powerful of the two being reserved for the F-Type R Coupe model, which now has 25 PS and 20 Nm of torque more than previously.

The biggest changes are seen through the new front end styling, which is the first vehicle to get the treatment from new head of design Julian Thompson. The headlights are now narrower and smaller making the front seem lower and longer creating more of a pronounced brow. The front air intakes have been slightly reshaped with a new grill design inside. For the rear of the car not much has changed, with the taillights now sporting the ‘chicane’ motif Jaguar are incorporating into their line-up. The overall look now makes the F-Type sit inline with the Jaguar XE and I-Pace with similar styling cues between them.
