Description
It’s official, the Honda Prelude is coming back with smart 2-door coupe looks and a hybrid engine. Based on the Civic’s platform, the new Prelude will be front-wheel drive and feature a 2.0L engine coupled with two electric motors (sadly no 2.2L here… those who know will know). It should however, be a derivative of the Civic’s e:HEV petrol-hybrid system which generates up to 181 hp in the Civic, so expect a similar output for the Prelude. Honda are also claiming special attention has been paid to the driving dynamics of the new Prelude and the interior will be designed around the driver’s needs.
