2018 Force India VJM11

Fresh off a 4th place finish in the 2017 Formula 1 constructors championship, Force India showed they were the best of the rest behind the big three last year. Can they maintain that pace or is a slide down in to the waiting midfield pack inevitable. The VJM11 adorns the pink livery for a second year since new title sponsor BWT came on board at the team. The new look is hard to miss on the track with the bright pink an unusual sight in the Formula 1 field. This signals another step of removing the India branding, with the team tipped to change their name for the 2018 season and completely separate themselves.

Force India have been known for punching above their weight with very competitive results despite a modest budget and team size. 2018 poses some tough questions to Force India, with other midfield teams ready to make up ground and pose a serious threat. Renault, McLaren, Toro Rosso and Haas all look like improving which could provide some exciting action in the middle of the pack for the 2018 season.
