2020 Ford Fiesta ST Edition

Ford’s impressive Fiesta ST hot hatch has been modified with some visual and mechanical tweaks to create the limited ‘Edition’ version set for sale in Europe. The Fiesta ST Edition features a unique ‘Azura Blue’ exterior finish with gloss black detailing on the front fog light surrounds, side mirrors, roof, rear spoiler, rear diffuser and wheels. The interior has been fitted out with plenty of blue stitching, carbon fibre-effect paneling and a Ford Performance steering wheel complete with a dedicated button for the Sport Drive Mode.

Power and torque output from the 1.5L Ecoboost engine remains the same, but the 0-60 mph acceleration time has been reduced by 0.2 seconds down to 6.5 seconds overall. This is thanks to some weight reduction and tweaking of the suspension and limited slip differential to improve traction. That suspension has been supplied by Ford Performance which consists of two-way adjustable coilovers with 12 bump settings and 16 rebound setting to choose from. The flow-formed 18-inch alloy wheels are also new with each weighing around 2 kilograms lighter than the regular wheels, with the flow-forming process offering greater shock resistance than traditional cast wheels.
