2019 Ferrari P80/C

Ferrari have shown off their latest one-off creation named the P80/C, the result of 4 years of development based off the 488 GT3 race car. Ferrari’s custom program keeps delivering special cars for customers with very deep pockets, the P80/C is perhaps one of the greatest examples created so far. Developed with the brief of a ‘modern Sports Prototype’, the customer was inspired by the iconic Ferrari 330 P3/P4 and Dino 206 S of the 1960s.

Based off the track only 488 GT3, the P80/C steps into the role of what an XX edition Ferrari 488 would be if they ever created one. Extensive modification has taken place all over the car, with the wheelbase even being stretched by 50mm. Every body panel is made from carbon fiber and finished in a bright red colour named by the customer called Rosso Vero. Ferrari haven’t confirmed details about the powertrain yet, but expect the same 3.9L twin turbo V8 from the 488 GT3 to be present. Power output should be somewhere around the 600 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque mark.
