Description
BMW M have revealed their new LMDh-class racer, which is set to compete in the American IMSA racing series from 2023. There they will go head to head with the likes of Porsche, Lamborghini, Cadillac and Acura.
Built on a control chassis from Dallara, the M Hybrid V8 uses a 4.4L twin turbocharged V8 engine with a Bosch hybrid system and Williams battery pack. As stated by the rule book for the LMDh class, power from the total system is limited to 670 hp.
