Description
Zagato have unveiled the Mostro, a bespoke creation celebrating the centenary of Maserati. It is designed to pay homage to one of the most iconic racing cars in the history of Maserati; the 450 S Coupe Zagato “Monster”. A race car coach built in Milan for the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the request of Stirling Moss.
The Mostro itself is powered by a 4.2L Maserati V8 developing 414 hp and positioned behind the front axle. The semi-automatic, six-speed transmission is located at the rear of the car and the suspension uses a double wishbone setup both front and rear. Only 5 examples will be built.
