2024 Nilu 27 Concept

Nilu, founded by ex-Koenigsegg and Bugatti designer Sasha Selipanov, has released its first creation, a manual V12 hypercar. Forgoing the now common approach of utilising either forced induction or electrification, the Nilu 27 concept is going the naturally aspirated route. Designed by New Zealand-based Hartley Engines, the 6.5L 80-degree V12 engine is expected to make more than 1,000 hp, and features individual throttle bodies placed on the outside of the “V” and the exhaust headers on the inside. This creates a “hot V” configuration with a 12-into-1 Inconel exhaust that is 3D-printed for the complex shape.
