Description

Inspired by the Ferrari 250 GT SWB, the RML Short Wheelbase looks like it came straight from the 1950’s. It continues the current trend of new small-production cars that borrow styling from some of the best looking cars of the past, and combine it with modern technology of the 2020’s.

RML is an English company who are credited with converting the track-only Aston Martin Vulcan into a road going car, and combining the running gear of a Nissan GT-R with a Nissan Juke creating the Juke R.

The Short Wheelbase is a bespoke creation from RML, featuring a 5.5L V12 engine cranking out 478 hp and 419 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual complete with gated shifter, and provides enough grunt to deliver a 4.1 second 0-60 mph sprint and 185 mph top speed.

The length of the car measures 168 inches, and the kerb weight tips the scales at 3,240 lbs which is a little heavier than the original 250 GT SWB, but a result of the modern tech and conveniences despite the body being made of carbon fiber.
