2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

The convertible C8 Corvette has arrived, with Chevrolet showing off the new folding hard-top roof that borrows from the likes of Ferrari and McLaren. During the development of the new C8 generation Corvette, Chevrolet put specific attention into designing the mid-engined chassis to easily accommodate a removable roof. That roof section is comprised of 2 main pieces that store away under the tonneau cover behind the cabin and above the engine compartment. This is all done automatically in 16 seconds and can be activated at speed of up to 30 mph.
