2022 Cadillac InnerSpace Concept

Cadillac’s InnerSpace concept looks at the future of autonomous luxury coupes. Designed with a very low and long sweeping roofline, the InnerSpace concept has a battery pack that is split up into multiple parts of the car thanks to GM’s wireless battery management system. That allows the battery to moved away from the floor where most EV’s place it, and achieve that very low stance.

Being an autonomous vehicle, the InnerSpace has no steering wheel or driver inputs. Instead, occupants are greeted with a giant LED screen covering the front windscreen that will display entertainment or relaxing environments. I guess a view of the road ahead is no longer important when the car is handling all the driving. It remains to be seen if a future of this nature will ever come to fruition, as there is still a lot of work to do to get autonomous cars good enough let alone earn the publics trust to make cars like this sell.
