2019 Cadillac CT6 V-Sport

The new Cadillac CT6 V-Sport is the first ever V-Performance model of its top-of-range sedan which debuts the brand’s first exclusive engine since the Northstar from the 90’s. The new V8 engine comes in at 4.2L with twin turbos mounted in a hot-V position, delivering peak power of 410 kW (550 horsepower) at 5,700 rpm and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque between 3,200-4,000 rpm. The clean slate design means current technologies are present like cylinder deactivation, variable timing on all four cams, auto stop/start, high compression and improved thermal efficiency. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic unit that is connected to an all-wheel drive setup.
