The same 4.4L twin turbocharged V8 engine remains pumping out 616 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque whilst propelling the X6 M from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds. The hybrid element consists of a small electric motor in the eight-speed automatic transmission. It can contribute a further 12 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque during acceleration and help out with the X5’s stop-start functions.
