2022 Austin-Healey by Caton

Caton, a new British luxury brand have unveiled their Austin-Healey 100 restomod, a faithfully updated version that will be limited to only 25 units. The approached towards this restomod was to remain as faithful as possible to the original car. This means attention has been paid to modernising the parts that needed it, whilst maintaining the looks and character of the original Austin-Healey 100.

The 3.0L 4 cylinder engine utilises the original block and gains a steel crankshaft, upgraded bearing shells, high compression pistons, a race camshaft, H8 carburettors, gas flow inlets, and a side-exit exhaust system. It is paired with an upgraded five-speed manual gearbox, and produces 185 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. All examples will be hand-built at the brand’s plant in Coventry.
