2018 Aston Martin DB4 GT Continuation

Aston Martin Works are building by hand 25 track-only continuations of the iconic Aston Martin DB4 GT. The continuation models with be built at the newly refurbished facilities of the historic home of Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell. This marks the first time production has returned since the Vanquish S seized production in 2007.

The engine is a refined version of the Tadek Marek-designed straight 6. Capacity of the engine stands at 3.7L, with two spark plugs per cylinder helping achieve a total power output of 340 horsepower. The rear wheels are feed power through a four-speed manual transmission complete with limited-slip differential. The body will follow tradition construction with thin aluminum panels fitted over the tubular frame. Modern techniques will be used to ensure perfect fitment and finish, while the cars are finished off by hand.
