2019 Ariel Atom 4

The Ariel Atom 4 is, you guessed it, the 4th version of the British open wheeled track day weapon. In fact this 4th generation Atom is the cars biggest change since it’s initial inception in 1999, with only three parts carried over from the previous model. The focus has been placed on refining the driver experience with greater dynamics and usability.

The main feature the Atom is known for is the visible tubular chassis, which Ariel has stiffened by a further 15% with beefier main and diagonal tubes. This extra torsional stiffness also opened up the chance to reduce body roll and dive whilst making it an all around better-leveled ride. The suspension has also received some upgrades with revised geometry semi-active Ohlins dampers to compliment the double-wishbone setup Avon ZZR tires.
