Acura have revealed their NSX EV Concept, a high-performance, electric vehicle designed to compete at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It features a further evolution of Acura’s experimental 4-motor Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) powertrain, which had previously won the 2015 Pikes Peak Challenge Exhibition class.
Equipped with four high-output electric motors which enable a 4-motor torque vectoring system, the NSX EV concept boasts independent torque distribution to all four wheels. This technology should provide exceptional handling and performance, especially suited for the challenging 156 corners of the Pikes Peak course.
